Sandra McGill

Sandra started her career in a large export company trading in 70 countries, dealing with customers, shipping agents and suppliers. Following computer training, Sandra became an IT consultant in BP Oil UK in their Information Systems Division followed by promotion to BP’s Manufacturing, Supply and Distribution business in their new European office in Brussels, where she managed statistical data, organised marketing campaigns, cross-business co-ordination and new product roll-out.

Sandra also took on the role of Information Manager to the European emergency response team (which covered major incidents across refineries, pipelines and road tankers) eventually returning to the UK to work on the European Systems Programme, a multi-language software system.

At the end of that project, Sandra returned to Brussels as a specialised Technical Administrator in Eurocontrol (European Air Traffic Control) working on project plans and initiation, co-ordinating with teams in all the Member States responsible for testing and producing new ATC software. She developed an efficient costing and control system which was eventually adopted throughout Eurocontrol.

Sandra joined the network in 1999, where she has had a variety of roles and, accordingly, has developed a deep understanding of the network and the service that it provides to law firms. Sandra’s current role is as manager of the business generation panels that the network operates; liaising with clients, solicitors and supervising the network’s quality systems and complaints procedures.
